April is Citrus Strong month in California and we’re celebrating by sharing the benefits of fresh, nutritious citrus with communities in need. Join us for the Second Annual Citrus Stride – a one mile walk around Capitol Park to raise awareness about hunger and celebrate the positive impact that citrus has on the health, economy, and environment of California.
Wednesday, April 19, 2017 - NoonEast Lawn of State Capitol
Citrus Strong has partnered with local food banks to ensure everyone has access to delicious, healthy citrus. With each participant registration for Citrus Stride – 1,000 pounds of citrus will be donated to California food banks.
As family farmers we’re looking to the future. Take a break from your busy day to walk with us, California’s citrus farmers, and learn more about what we’re doing to make our environment, economy, and communities stronger for generations to come.
